Shannon Sharpe is almost your average Police Detective, but she has an edge. That edge is called intuition and hers is wide open. Soon, she meets new people. Frank Lynch, who is really a billionaire Vampire and possible love interest although she only knows about the billionaire part. Keith Sinclair, who just happens to be a Gargoyle, but she's unaware of that also. Then, there is the group of interdimensional super cops that not only patrol other dimensions but fix problems associated with all the races of ancient folklore. The Enforcers, and they want Shannon on their side by hook or by crook. The only problem is they seem mentally challenged when it comes to revealing information to their new protégé, which more than pisses her off.
Traveling off world by way paths, she experiences both wonders and tragedy she never knew existed, yet she never strays from the path of righteousness. Why? Because she is what the Enforcers call a Sensitive. Who knows what powers she will eventually bring to the table in defense of mankind. All they really suspect is that a true high-level sensitive might be capable of ANYTHING, which scares the hell out of them.
This is a story about a bad-ass woman with bad-ass friends, who kick ass and take names. But please, no publicity. The public is not ready!

To,too,two all have different meanings. Same with there,they're and their. Love the story line and the pace of the plot reveal. This would be a five star review if I didn't have to read sentences more than once in order to figure out what the author was trying to say.
The idea of a female detective with powers of some kind never defined is not a new one and this book is in the same genre. The challenges and different drama between humans and other mythical creatures is somewhat interesting and slightly different than others by different authors. The huge flaw in this book is that the heroine, a police detective with an advanced degree in psychology would act like a five year old continuously. Professional, and MOST women in fact, never "squeal!" In excitement, "hop up and down in delight" over a new dress, "blush in embarrassment" over a glance at her "generous breasts" showing through her body armor. This author apparently has no female friends, family, or knows any women above the age of kindergarten.
I hope the author finds a decent editor, or even a poor one because they will quickly tell him that females DO NOT act the way they are portrayed in this book.
A new series from Sean Liebling, in the expanding genre of kickass heroines. The idea of mixing the world of man with the supernatural by way of police has been around for a couple years, and looks to have some life in it. This book is a fair centre for the character, and most of the usual suspects. I'd give it another book to even out the storyline. A good way to spend a couple hours.
In the interests of disclosure, I will admit a certain bias towards this book. If you read it, you will understand why. That being said, it is the first in a new series by Sean Liebling, and it reminds me of the television show "Supernatural" in some ways. You will enjoy it, and the stage is set for many more plot turns and twists going forward. Give it a read, its a good entry into Sean's Universe.
Decent start to the series. I like Liebling's spin on things. Different. Not perfectly edited, but not badly so either. Well worth it.

Sean Liebling has become one of my favorite authors his style is a little gritty at times but I like that . This new book Razorr Sharrpe its a good as I expected. Thanks Sean
